Description

You shoot a ray at or touch a target creature or object of solid matter, trying to disintegrate it (dealing unspecified damage type). Any creature killed by this or any object reduced to 0 HP is completely turned to fine dust. The equipment of a struck creature is not affected.\nAgainst large objects, the ray disintegrates a maximum of 25 cubic meters (or more specifically 2x2x2 sq).\nAny force effect struck by this spell is automatically destroyed.

If the touch or ray hits an object, the spell deals the specified damage. If it hits a creature, a further attack against Fort has the following effect:\nS - The spell deals the indicated damage.\nCS - The spell deals double damage.\nF - The spell deals only one-quarter damage.
