Description
You protect the target with a shimmering shield that provides a deflection bonus to DeC. Maximum total deflection bonus is +6 (or +10 against ranged if that extra bonus is paid for).
Variations & Options:
Projectile protection option: The target gains an additional +4 deflection bonus against projectiles, thrown weapons, and other ranged weapon attacks.\nShadow shield option (req Arcane - Illumination; [Dark]): The shield becomes shadowy and grants the target concealment. The target also gains a +2 circumstance bonus to defenses against [Light] and [Radiant] effects.
