Description

You try to use or activate a magic device that you would normally not be able to use. You must consciously choose which, if any, requirement(s) to emulate, making one check for each.

Check Results & Effects:

S - You manage to activate the device.\nOS - You are also able to sense the item's powers, means of activation, and size of power pools.\nF - You fail to activate the device. You can try again.\nCF - You suffer some sort of mishap (DM discretion). Retrying is no longer possible for this device.
