Description
In anticipation of a combat situation (but not once combat has begun), you can stare down an opponent and try to engage it in a duel of wills.
When you use a challenging stare, the target has three options:\nSubmit - If combat starts, the opponent suffers a morale penalty of -2 on initiative and -1 on attack rolls for 1 round.\nIgnore - If your check beats DC 15 and combat starts, you gain a morale bonus of +1 on attack rolls against the target for 1 round.\nParticipate - You and the target make opposed checks. If combat starts, the winner gains a morale bonus of +1 on attack rolls and damage rolls against the loser, while the loser suffers a -1 morale penalty on attack rolls and damage rolls against the winner.
